Connecting Those Who Manage 100% Volunteer-Run Non-Profits

Updated: Mar 19, 2023

Starting a non-profit organisation is a noble and rewarding endeavour. Still, it can also be overwhelming and challenging, especially for the leaders or founders of small or new community organisations motivated by a strong desire to help and make a difference. When these organisations are entirely volunteer-run and rely on ad hoc funding models, they often need more resources and support to thrive and create a sustainable and consistent impact in their communities.

I am excited to announce the launch of Community Nonprofit Leaders Network (CNPLN). This network is designed to connect leaders of small or new community organisations, providing a platform for them collaborate and learn from each other. The network will meet virtually once a month, outside of office hours, for a 90-minute facilitated group discussion. During these meetings, participants can exchange ideas, present case studies, and receive advice and support from others facing similar challenges.

Whether you need help securing funding, recruiting volunteers, or navigating complex legal and regulatory requirements, this network will provide a safe and supportive space to find the guidance and resources you need to succeed. There is no cost to join this network.

Please note that this network is exclusively for founders and leaders of community organisations or nonprofits that are 100% volunteer-run or operated and rely on an ad-hoc funding model. If your organisation has sustainable funding or paid staff, please seek support elsewhere. The focus is on providing resources and support to those who need it most.

If you want to join this network, please register your interest here, before 31 March 2023. You will receive more information in terms of dates and agenda items. Spaces are limited.

Harness the power of collaboration and build lasting relationships with other leaders and change makers.
