The IMB Bank Community Foundation is dedicated to enhancing local communities by adhering to a set of objectives when selecting projects for funding. Applications will be evaluated based on their ability to contribute to these key objectives, which include promoting diversification, advancing prosperity and sustainability, supporting mutual and self-help philosophies, fostering skill transfer and resource development, encouraging volunteerism, strengthening community and business networks, and ultimately building and strengthening community assets.

The Artists in Schools grant program offers funding of up to $10,000 per project to schools, enabling them to collaborate with artists in co-designing and implementing creative projects that provide innovative learning opportunities. Professional artists can apply for grants of up to $10,000 to deliver programs at individual schools or in partnership with multiple schools. The funding allocation is up to $7,000 for one or two schools and $10,000 for a group of schools.

This program aims to support organisations and charities in making a positive and lasting impact on the health of West Australians. Grants ranging from $1,000 to $20,000 are available. Eligible applicants must be registered charitable organizations with a physical presence in WA, operating for at least two years, and have an annual turnover between $50,000 and $5 million. Proposed initiatives should improve the health of West Australians sustainably. Eligible activities include:

  • Addressing chronic health conditions.

  • Demonstrating community benefits.

  • Involving HBF employee engagement.

  • Providing specific and measurable outcomes.

  • Showcasing good governance and financial management.

  • Offering potential additional benefits for HBF members through partnerships.
